THANK YOU, TYLER & TG23
We joined TG23 when the club was brand new, and Rueben was lucky enough to be part of the very first team Tyler ever created. At the time, Rueben was a new goalkeeper, but Tyler believed in him and gave him the confidence and opportunity to develop.
Since then, we have been on an amazing journey with TG23. We’ve attended countless academies, tournaments and events, and Tyler has always gone above and beyond to make sure the children have opportunities to play, learn and enjoy football. He is not a coach who is half-hearted — he genuinely gives his all to the kids and the club.
One thing that really stands out to us is how much Tyler has always listened to Rueben and supported what he wanted to do. When Rueben decided he wanted to experience playing outfield for a while, Tyler didn’t simply tell him to choose between being a goalkeeper or playing out. Instead, he went out of his way to create a whole new team in a different league so Rueben could play outfield, experience something different and, most importantly, enjoy himself.
The opportunities Tyler has created through TG23 — from tournaments and academy visits to playing against different teams and experiencing different environments — have opened so many doors for Rueben. Those experiences have led to personal opportunities with various clubs and have helped Rueben grow, not only as a footballer but also as a person.
We will always be grateful that Tyler believed in Rueben from the very beginning. What started as joining a brand-new club and being part of its first-ever team has turned into a journey filled with memories, experiences and opportunities that we will never forget.
Thank you, Tyler, for believing in Rueben, pushing him, listening to him and always finding ways to give these children opportunities. Your commitment to the kids goes far beyond just coaching football, and it really does make a difference. TG23 isn’t just a football club — it has been a huge part of Rueben’s journey. ❤️⚽
